When I get behind the camera, there is only one focus, to capture the essence and emotion that goes beyond mere admiration of beauty.
My fifteen years in the industry, started casually in 1994, with a few playful productions that led to the Vancouver Sun and Province as a press photographer in 1996. Through the years my desire for active lifestyle branding has taken me to high line fashion shoots from New York to Buenos Aries, and covering our home town heroes, the Canucks. Specialization in advertising campaigns for corporate clientele such as Best Buy, Future Shop, Edge Water Casino, Jacqueline Conoir, and BC Hot House, and portfolio development with various talent agencies across the country, has given me a broad network in the industry. |
To conceptualize a campaign shoot with such precision requires a multi-faceted approach. It begins with the back drop, naturally selected or skillfully crafted. The manipulation of light, placement of crew, artistic direction of the subject, and a professional attitude, are what bring the desired results time after time. Creativity and experience has allowed me to refine my craft, continue with passion, and maintain a keen sense for the spontaneous moments that define memory.
